Melissa merges her passion for llustration and Design into custom handlettering. Every design focuses on bright color palettes, playful phrases, and sophisticated letterforms. Her designs reflect the kind

of woman she is herself; bold, positive, and fearless. Her inspiration stems from a fascination of everyday moments which translates in

her work's imagery and phrases.

Melissa had the opportunity to travel to São Tomé and Príncipe, Africa where she created illustrations that reveal the personality of each subject and show a glimpse of his or her life. She believes her travels have enriched her cultural experience and inspired her stylistic voice.
